Commissioning Engineer

Commissioning Engineer | From £50,000 circa 65K OTE | Somerset Our client is a leading engineering and manufacturing company that supplies specialised equipment to the converting and print industries worldwide. They are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Commissioning Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the commissioning, installation, troubleshooting, and servicing of a wide range of converting machinery at international customer sites. You will also be expected to train customers on the operation and maintenance of the equipment. A strong understanding of associated systems, including auxiliary PLC control systems, motors, drives, and HMIs, is essential. Key Skills and Experience: Fully qualified Electrical Engineer, ideally time-served through an apprenticeship or equivalent route. HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a customer-facing environment. Willing and able to travel internationally at short notice. Additional Information: Must hold a valid passport.
