Sheet Metal Worker

Morson are currently recruiting Sheet Metal Workers on behalf of our prestigious client, to join their team in Glasgow. Location: Govan and Scotstoun Salary: £37,318 per annum (33% additional shift allowance) Shifts: Shifts may apply. These include Dayshift, Nightshift and Weekend working. What you'll be doing: Manufacturing and installing ventilation and furniture Working to engineering standards, striving for quality first time Using a range of hand tools Hand skills required for manufacturing and installation purposes Understanding of manufacturing and installation drawing Your skills and experiences: Time Served (able to provide Apprenticeship Papers) Understanding of HVAC Installation & Manufacture. Understanding of manufacturing processes, instructions and procedures. Understanding of SHE Risks Assessments, PUWER and COSHH. Comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height Background in a major construction / manufacturing environment, marine experience advantageous Candidates must pass a trade test before offer. Successful candidates will be subject to Security and Export Control restrictions. Candidates will be required to gain BPSS security clearance prior to a start date.
