Learn more about GovTech at tech.gov.sg. As Director/NDI, you will be a leader in GovTech and leading one of the most ubiquitous products in Singapore: Singpass. The team exists to build an authentication platform for individuals and businesses and facilitate trusted transactions at scale across Singapore. As the Director/NDI, you will hold a wide-ranging remit to transform digital identity at scale for Singapore across both the individual users and business community, via Singpass and Corppass respectively. There are both G2C and G2B elements involved in building the NDI team and we’re excited to find a leader that will enjoy the dual-track focus of this role. The teams reporting within your organisation are: Anti Fraud Operations Data Science Design Director’s Office (Shared Services & Policy) Engineering Product Product Operations We are looking for a leader who can outline a compelling vision for the next bound of digital identity for all its users, and bring best-practice in security, stability and product development to the NDI team. The leader will be responsible for the product vision of Singpass, understand the technicalities of building new features and prioritise new features to be built while sustaining a service level objective of 99.95%. About you You are: Technically fluent: You have an interest in building technical organisations, and have a technical skillset of your own to lead the team with credibility Familiar with building and scaling products: You have designed and operationalised strong product roadmaps with clear impact throughout your career Comfortable in a general-management role, across both the Product and Operations sides of the house: All of Singpass will report under your organisation and an aptitude for both technical and non-technical work will be key. A strong stakeholder partner: Singpass is relied upon by all parts of the public service and citizenry. There will often be competing feature requests levied upon the team – you will be asked to prioritise and communicate these requests to the team, and to your stakeholders.
