Waste Operative Immediate Start (2-Month Contract) We are currently recruiting for aWaste Operativeon behalf of a third-party client for animmediate start. This is atemporary role for 2 months, with the potential for flexibility in working hours based on site requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Loading behind refuse/recycling lorries, collecting waste from households, and ensuring proper segregation of recyclable materials. - Contributing to the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the streets and public areas. - Working at these facilities to assist with the sorting, processing, and disposal of waste. - Collecting large items of household waste, such as furniture, that are not suitable for regular collection. - Removing illegally dumped waste from public areas. - Delivering new bins or collecting old ones from households. Working Hours: - Total:37 hours per week - Based: Wick or Thurso Pay Rate: - 13.12 per hour(HC03 grade) This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is looking for a short-term role with reliable hours.
