What You'll Be Doing * Designing and fabricating mechanical prototypes for innovative medical equipment * Developing early-stage concepts into physical, testable models * Using SolidWorks (training provided if needed) to bring your designs to life * Getting stuck in: welding, machining, assembling, and testing prototypes in the workshop * Collaborating with a skilled engineering team in a fast-paced R&D environment * Learning from experienced engineers while contributing your own creative solutions from day one Who We're Looking For * A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) * Strong hands-on mechanical skills – Welding, Fabrication, CNC, machining, Metalwork (must be visible on your CV) * A real “doer” with a maker’s mindset – do you restore cars or bikes? Build machines or models in your spare time? Tell us about it! * Familiarity with SolidWorks (preferred, but not essential – we can train you) * A team player with curiosity, drive, and a love for practical problem solving Additional Info * Must be eligible to work in the UK – we cannot provide sponsorship * Due to workshop location, a full UK driving licence is preferred Ready to build something that matters?
