CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST4) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time Pay Rate: £15.00–£20.00 per hour (DOE) Hours: Monday to Friday, 2-week rotating shifts (days/nights), overtime available Hunters 4 Staff are pleased to be supporting our client, a well-established engineering company based in ST4, Stoke-on-Trent, in their search for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis. Key Responsibilities: Set and operate CNC machines, primarily 5-axis mill-turn machines Work with Mazak-controlled machinery (experience with other controls also considered) Undergo training to develop technical skills further Work rotating shifts (2-week pattern of days and nights) Meet expected levels of weekly overtime Requirements: Strong background in CNC setting and operating Experience with 5-axis mill-turn machines preferred Mazak control panel experience advantageous Apprenticeship background in machining (ideal but not essential) Willingness to learn and train to high standards Availability for shift work and regular overtime Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Overtime pay Free on-site parking This role may be suitable for candidates from Stoke-on-Trent or surrounding areas such as Newcastle-under-Lyme, Longton, Burslem, or Hanley.
