Graduate Data Analyst – Financial & Legal Data Modelling £25,000–£35,000 Bonus | Full-time | Central London (Office-based) Location: London (Zone 1 – near Charing Cross) Sector: Analytics | Commercial Disputes | Legal Data | Graduate Roles We’re working exclusively with a high-performing boutique analytics consultancy that supports legal teams in major commercial disputes. They’re now hiring a Graduate Data Analyst to join their expert team and play a key role in quantifying financial losses , analysing large datasets, and helping deliver evidence-based reports for high-profile cases. This is a unique opportunity for a numerically gifted graduate to launch their career in an intellectually stimulating and genuinely commercial role. Combining elements of data science, statistical modelling, and financial analytics. What you’ll be working on: Reviewing incomplete, inconsistent datasets and making assumptions to fill data gaps Preparing clear, auditable Excel-based reports to support financial claims Writing compelling client-facing reports that communicate your analysis effectively Collaborating with external parties including law firms, suppliers, and data providers Using Excel, Word and statistical tools to deliver high-quality work under time pressure ✅ Ideal candidate profile: Recent graduate (or final-year student) with a 2:1 or above in a quantitative degree Strong academic track record – target universities include Warwick (MORSE), Imperial, Kings College, LSE, Oxford, or Cambridge Exceptional numerical skills and strong attention to detail Comfortable working with incomplete or messy data Proficient in Microsoft Excel (logical functions, pivot tables, lookups etc.) Bonus: exposure to Python , R , or other statistical tools Interview process: Stage 1: 10-minute intro interview with the team Stage 2: In-person 2-hour interview with a case study and presentation Interviews will begin in early July , with a preference for candidates who can start immediately The offer: Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 depending on experience Full-time, office-based role in Central London Immediate start preferred (but not essential for strong candidates) Join a small, smart, collaborative team working on real commercial impact cases This is an outstanding opportunity to move into high-level analytical work with real-world impact—ideal for numerically gifted graduates looking for more than just a data job.
