What will the Graduate Trainee Accountant role involve? Working across audit, accounts, tax, and advisory to gain a full understanding of practice services. Assisting with the preparation of year-end financial statements and management accounts. Supporting senior team members with audit fieldwork and client interactions. Preparing personal and corporate tax computations. Gaining experience in client bookkeeping, VAT returns, and cloud accounting systems. Working directly with a wide range of clients, from SMEs to high-net-worth individuals. Attending in-house training sessions and progressing through a recognised qualification pathway. Suitable Candidate for the Graduate Trainee Accountant vacancy: A recent graduate (or soon to graduate) with a 2:1 or above in a relevant degree subject. Strong desire to pursue a career in accountancy, with clear motivation to qualify ACA or ACCA. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset.
