Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant September 2025 – July 2026 £81 – £101 per day School location: Central Wolverhampton 1:1 support to a child with autism The Role In this role, you’ll provide consistent 1:1 support to a primary-aged child with autism. You’ll help manage transitions, support classroom engagement, and assist with emotional regulation. Working alongside the SENCO and teaching staff, you'll contribute to the child’s learning and development by implementing structured routines and personalised strategies. The Candidate You're a psychology graduate with a calm, empathetic approach and a genuine interest in neurodiversity and child development. Previous experience with autism—whether through work, volunteering or family—is desirable. You’ll need strong communication skills and the resilience to handle challenges in a professional and supportive way. The School Located in central Wolverhampton, this inclusive primary school has a well-established SEN provision and a supportive team.
