What You’ll Be Doing (The Role) Managing the commercial aspects of conservation and restoration projects from pre-construction through to final account Preparing detailed cost plans, variations, valuations, and subcontractor packages Working closely with project and site teams to manage budgets, track progress, and maintain financial control Leading procurement and overseeing payment applications and cashflow forecasts Assisting with tenders, contract negotiation, and client reporting Ensuring compliance with heritage project requirements and documentation standards About You Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within conservation, heritage, or specialist construction Comfortable managing multiple contracts with values up to £2m across London sites Strong understanding of listed building works, including masonry, roofing, timber, and specialist finishes Skilled in contract admin, valuations, variations, and cost control Confident communicator with the ability to work across site teams, clients, and heritage consultants Suitable for Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor-level candidates looking for meaningful work About the Company This highly respected, London-based contractor specialises in heritage restoration and conservation of Grade I and II-listed, ecclesiastical, and historic commercial buildings.
