About the Role: A dynamic and well-established sixth form is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Maths for a full-time position starting in September 2025. Essential Requirements QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification. Eligibility to work in the UK. Experience teaching A Level Mathematics An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one). Essential Skills: Subject expertise in Maths and A Level curriculum Analytical thinking Differentiation and scaffolding for diverse learners Communication and interpersonal skills Collaborative teamwork Reflective and evidence-based teaching practice Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality A Level Maths lessons with clarity and pace Plan schemes of work that align with curriculum requirements Set and mark assessments that promote student progress Prepare students for internal and external examinations Provide stretch and challenge for high-attaining students Monitor student progress and adapt teaching accordingly Engage in departmental meetings and share best practices Liaise with parents, carers, and academic mentors as needed Contribute to the development of maths teaching resources Act as a positive role model aligned with the college's ethos and values What We Offer: A supportive, collaborative working environment.
