Business Development Internship at Sciential BV in Rotterdam Sciential is a digital marketing agency that provides digital marketing solutions for companies operating in the life sciences sector. We help our clients execute successful campaigns by delivering expertise in life sciences, digital marketing and creative concepts. From our HQ in The Netherlands, we have served over 100 clients in Europe and Asia. Since 2020, we’ve grown to a team of 25 experts and we’re looking for new team members who want to join our journey of fast growth. Are you our new Business Development Intern? We are in search of a Business Development Intern to assist us in keeping a finger on the pulse of the market, managing contact with potential clients, and effectively managing our CRM system. Your role will be pivotal in observing the marketplace, preparing presentations and project proposals, and preparing potential events. You will help us organize our business development strategy and convince potential clients to work with us. What does your typical day look like? Your Friday kicks off at 8:45hr with a team standup followed by a coffee. By 9:00hr, you're engaged in a strategy meeting with the management team, discussing a fresh list of leads and sales opportunities. Mid-morning, you’re preparing a project proposal and offer for a new international client. The intensity of the morning earns you a well-deserved break, so at 12:30hr, you enjoy lunch with the team, either in the canteen or catching rays on the rooftop. In the afternoon you connect on LinkedIn with participants of life sciences events and warm them up for an introduction meeting with one of our business developers. As the day passes and the weekend vibes kick in, you identify some new promising industry events we should consider attending or sponsoring. And to wrap up the week on a high note, at 17:00hr, you join the team for a relaxing Friday drink and snack. This is what we expect from you: Enrolled in a bachelor's or Master’s program related to Business Management; Keen interest in understanding market dynamics and business development strategies in life sciences; Professional work style with an eye for detail; Familiarity with CRM systems or an eagerness to learn; Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams; and Sharing innovative ideas with the team.
