In this critical position, you will shape data architecture strategies and solutions for our enterprise data warehouse. Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define and document data architecture and modeling needs Architect and design comprehensive solutions for the enterprise data warehouse, sourcing data from multiple insurance and reinsurance systems Design and implement Source to Target mappings optimized for high-volume data integration Create logical and physical data models and implement them on Microsoft SQL Server platforms Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate translation of mappings into code Develop strategies for data collection and ingestion and write SQL-based solutions to validate data accuracy and integrity Analyze and design enterprise data models for optimal reporting and support reporting teams in utilizing the data warehouse effectively Participate in release planning and validate changes post-deployment Develop Microsoft SQL Server views for reporting and dashboard development Troubleshoot and optimize SQL and Informatica mappings and stored procedures Requirements 5 years of data architecture and design experience with development teams 3 years of experience within the insurance and reinsurance domain Advanced experience extracting data from insurance applications Extensive knowledge of data warehousing, ETL and business intelligence architectures Capability to create and tune semantic layer reporting views Knowledge of relational database management systems platforms including Microsoft SQL Server B.S. degree in Computer Information Science, Information Management, or Statistics Strong interpersonal skills with proficiency in both written and verbal communication Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Strong organizational and analytical skills Nice to have Knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center and Guidewire Claims Center Familiarity with SAP Financial Services Collections and Disbursements and SAP Financial Accounting General Ledger applications We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Healthcare benefits Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000 courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedIn Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Information Technology, Engineering, and Business Development Industries Software Development, IT Services and IT Consulting, and Insurance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at EPAM Systems by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Data Specialist” roles.
