W&I insurance intern

Period : From September 2025 onwards, for a minimum period of 6 months Specialisations : M&A, Corporate law, Insurance law Type : Internship (six months or more) Location : Amsterdam (the Netherlands) Monthly salary : A competitive intern salary is offered Candidate profile : Business / Law student/graduate Good knowledge of (or affinity with) corporate law/ M&A Team player Being motivated and eager to learn Good analytical and writing skills Fluent written and spoken English is required. Experience in M&A or Private Equity would be an asset, but not a requirement. Similarly, knowledge of insurance law is not required, as our business is primarily M&A related. Description of Transact Risk Partners : Transact Risk Partners is a managing general agency (MGA) specialised in W&I and tax insurance for M&A transactions within Europe and UK. Our business is focused on analysing the legal and tax risks associated with acquisitions, sales and mergers (in particular, the risk of breach of warranties and indemnities contained in SPAs and the specific tax risks identified in due diligence) to propose an appropriate tailor-made insurance policy. Description of duties / internship : As part of the Benelux M&A team, you will be closely involved in all aspects of the projects and your tasks will include: Carrying out research in corporate law Review of legal documentation: purchase agreements, data room documents, due diligence reports, information memorandum, etc Preparation of files for the issuance of insurance policies based on a review of corporate documentation: enter information in CRM software, prepare Authorities and Non-Binding Offer (commercial offers), draft insurance policies, etc Assisting the team in preparing client presentations and other marketing materials (brochures, conferences, etc.)
