Laboratory Assistant

About the Role: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Assistant to join our team in Utrecht for the summer. This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a laboratory setting. The Lab Assistant will support the team by performing routine and essential lab tasks to help keep daily operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Assist with general lab upkeep, including cleaning and organizing workspaces and equipment Label, sort, and store samples and supplies Prepare basic materials or solutions as directed Dispose of waste and manage inventory of lab consumables Support technicians and analysts with day-to-day tasks Perform other routine duties as assigned to maintain lab efficiency Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older Highschool diploma Available to start immediately and work through the summer Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Dependable, punctual, and willing to perform repetitive or routine tasks Previous lab experience is a plus, but not required What We Offer: €18/hour pay Experience in a professional lab environment Opportunity to work with a collaborative and supportive team
