Private Equity Associate

H&P is working with an established Private Equity Growth and VC Firm focusing on mid-market technology investments across Europe and looking for a Dutch Associate to join its growing Amsterdam Team. Role Overview: Source and identify potential investment opportunities. Conduct thorough due diligence, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment, for prospective deals. Assist in executing investments, including negotiations, term sheet structuring, and deal-closing processes. Support portfolio companies post-investment with strategic advice, operational assistance, and growth initiatives. Prepare investment memos and present opportunities to senior leadership while providing regular updates on portfolio performance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record. Strictly 2-4 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, venture capital or mid-market private equity (excluding internships). Self-motivated, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Proficiency in Dutch, native or bilingual.
