Creative Video Editor

We’re seeking a proactive, creatively sharp, and technically skilled Video Content Editor to join our remote team at Alpha Quant Capital , a fast-growing quantitative research firm with a bold presence in the investing education space. This role involves more than just trimming clips — we want someone who understands content that converts, moves fast, and blends strong editing with storytelling, motion graphics, and taste. Edit engaging, high-performing videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube Use Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and CapCut to produce both long-form and short-form content Design animated graphics (lower thirds, transitions, charts, etc.) to enhance video quality and brand presence Collaborate with our team via Zoom for feedback and content planning Source stock footage, music, SFX, and visual references resourcefully Understand brand tone, content goals, and performance metrics to inform creative decisions Localize content for bilingual needs — English proficiency is essential; Chinese is a plus but not mandatory Experiment with generative AI tools (e.g., for upscaling, subtitles, mockups, or visual references) What You’ll Get Remote work flexibility with a fast-moving, vision-driven team Exposure to quantitative investing, brand building, and emerging tech Opportunity to grow as the company scales its media and investor education verticals Competitive pay and performance-based growth Job Requirements 1–3 years of video editing experience (agency, in-house, or freelance) Proficiency in Adobe Suite & CapCut; bonus if familiar with Figma or Canva for layout drafts Strong design sense — good pacing, visual balance, and a premium look Reliable communication skills and availability for remote collaboration and Zoom calls Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines Curious and eager to learn — especially in creative tech and Gen AI tools Passion for investing, startups, or financial storytelling Experience with fast-growing brands or startups Receptive to feedback A portfolio or reel demonstrating versatility across formats and platforms Right to Work Requirements Candidates with existing right to work in the country are preferred Local citizens, permanent residents, or those with a work permit for the country Today, we are a leading quantitative research firm developing robust strategies to uncover alpha across asset classes.
