The annual gross salary is about 50.000 Euros. The area of research and teaching is Statistics. Requested research duties: the research activity will develop within the themes that characterize the scientific disciplinary sector STAT-01/A (former SECS-S/01) - Statistica and will concern the theoretical and applied aspects of mathematical statistics with particular relevance in emerging areas such as: Statistical Machine Learning, High Dimensional Statistics, Bayesian Non-parametrics, Functional Data Analysis; Requested teaching duties: teaching in the BSc, MSc and PhD courses in the scientific disciplinary sector STAT-01/A (former SECS-S/01) and MATH-03/B (former MAT/06) and in the sectors of probability and statistics for BSc courses, in the amount defined by the University regulations. Tutoring of master theses and internships in the specific sector.
