HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

We are urgently requiring HGV refuse driver to work with our client in Rotherham. This will be part of the Waste Collection Team. This is a full time role, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday with a possible Saturday. Role Safely carry out waste collections across the Borough, including collection of all waste and recyclables from household and commercial properties Responsible for the waste collection vehicle and supervise the work of the waste management operatives on the vehicle Requirements Experience of working within a waste collection environment, preferably kerbside waste/recycling collections and be able to operate as part of a team Ability to walk distances at a minimum of 8 to 10 miles per day as this is a physically demanding role, must be able to push and pull bins of various sizes over various distances and gradients in all weather conditions Good understanding of health and safety requirements in the workplace Input daily updates on the Bartec in cab system and report contamination HGV category C2 driving licence, CPC and Digi Tacho Good customer services skills and an ability to work within a team
