Field Service Engineer – Water Treatment Ideally based between Bristol and Birmingham (Gloucester/Cheltenham perfect) Up to £35,000 Company Van Overtime Call Out Pay Field-Based | Hands-On | Career Growth | Vehicle Provided Are you a practical, hands-on engineer looking for a field-based role where every day is different? We're looking for a Field Service Engineer to join a growing technical team supporting sites between Bristol and Birmingham . If you're based along the M5 corridor – Gloucester, Cheltenham, Worcester, or nearby – this could be your ideal next move. What You'll Be Doing As a key member of the Field Service Team, you'll: Install, maintain, and repair water treatment systems at customer sites Carry out scheduled and ad-hoc service visits Respond to emergency call-outs (on a rota) Diagnose faults and repair or replace equipment Support with new system installations and commissioning What you need for this role Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background (Level 3) Previous experience with plant maintenance or fault finding Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field UK driving licence Willingness to travel across the region and work occasional weekends/on-call Even Better If You Have: Electro-mechanical apprenticeship or ONC/HNC in Engineering 18th Edition qualified Experience working with water purification equipment What You'll Get: Up to £35,000 salary Company van , tools, and all travel covered Paid overtime on-call allowance A large benefits package including excellent pension, private medical, 10 x salary life insurance, 26 days holiday plus bank holidays etc. Full training on specialist water treatment systems Career development and upskilling opportunities Be part of a company that values quality, teamwork and service Location: You'll cover a patch between Bristol and Birmingham , ideally living near Gloucester or Cheltenham for easy access to both ends of the region.
