About the Green Cave Pre School Located near Tunbridge Wells Train Station Ofsted Rating: New setting Capacity: 35 children Age Range: 2-5 years Specialties: Montessori, Yoga, Forest School, Football Duties and Responsibilities Plan, create and implement engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. Observing, tracking and reflecting on learning Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day to day basis The ideal candidate will have Full and Relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification and a Montessori teaching certificate. Previous experience working with children in a similar role. Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children Nursery Benefits Bonus per year Supportive Management Team In-house training & recognised qualifications Access to our extensive library of training and qualifications, to support your continuous development Apprenticeship scheme including up to Level 5 This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
