Job Description

The Associate Director will assist the Interim Director of Marist Italy in managing branch campus operations. Key responsibilities include supporting daily operations, developing office procedures and schedules, bookkeeping, and helping to lead high-impact educational programs such as internships, lecture series, senior seminars, the honors program, and community engagement initiatives. Minimum Qualifications : Applicants must be European Union (EU) citizens or have ongoing permission to work in Italy; visa sponsorship is not available. At least five years of experience in international education and study abroad, supporting students' academic, cultural, and personal adjustment to living in another culture. Master’s degree in a relevant field. Fluency in Italian and English. Adaptability, energy, and a commitment to excellence in international programs. Essential Functions : Managing program budgets and bookkeeping in collaboration with the Interim Director. Overseeing the Marist Italy office, including daily operations, vendor relations, and supply orders. Developing office procedures and schedules aligned with home campus policies and adapted to the Italian context. Leading high-impact practices as defined by the Interim Director, including internships, lecture series, senior seminars, honors programs, and community engagement. Participating in the emergency on-call phone rotation. Performing other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications : Deep knowledge of Florence.
