Compliance Analyst

Our banking client is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the Chief Compliance Officer and Compliance Team in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies, including AML/ATF standards. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity and reputation of the organization through compliance monitoring, investigation, reporting, and policy development. LOCATION: Downtown Toronto, 3 days in-office Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Conduct transaction monitoring, investigations, and KYC reviews to ensure compliance with AML/ATF regulations.Maintain sanction lists and client databases, ensuring periodic reviews and reconciliations.Monitor the effectiveness of compliance processes and update policies as needed.Prepare compliance reports and assist with regulatory and Head Office reporting requirements.Provide compliance support to business lines and deliver training on emerging risks and requirements.Qualifications:University/College graduate.5 years of relevant compliance experience in financial services (bank preferred).Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., OSFI, FINTRAC, PCMLTA) and ability to apply them.Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.If you meet the qualifications for this role, we encourage you to apply online using the reference "Compliance Analyst."
