Qualifications Matric Recognized Trade Test Requirements 10 years post-apprenticeship experience in the mechanical/technical field Willingness and ability to work shifts Duties Proficient in marking out techniques for precise fabrication and machining. Competent in basic welding. Skilled in compressor maintenance, including inspection, servicing, and minor repairs. Capable of operating basic hand tools Knowledgeable of current health and safety regulations and workplace compliance. Competent in hydraulic systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault finding. Skilled in pneumatic systems routine servicing and fault diagnostics. Able to identify and replace bearings, including fitting and lubrication procedures. Proficient in belt and chain drive systems installation, tensioning, and alignment. Competent in gearbox repair strip-down, component replacement, and alignment. Familiar with various couplings, including identification, fitting, and replacement.
