Job Description
Duties: Managing pre-opening projects and building works Managing the complete technical and maintenance installations including the houses and the staff village. Drafting maintenance programs Coaching, assisting and training of the maintenance team Responsible for the management of the maintenance team onsite Responsible for an organized work environment for the technical team, managing the workshops, maintenance tools and equipment, spare parts etc Making sure the property is in perfect condition for guests and staff accommodation is also well maintained Making and preparing programs and budgets for scheduled maintenance work Implementing and training staff in efficient and careful use of equipment Requirements: Grade 12 A formal technical qualification At least 5 years experience in a boutique hotel / luxury lodge environment Theoretical and practical knowledge and experience in working with off grid operations, solar, hot water boiler systems and other related installations Hands-on and having an organized personality Managerial skills and experience Good communication skills, specifically in training
