Cost Estimator

REQUIREMENTS Matric, or similar qualification Proven experience as an estimator in a manufacturing industry Strong mathematical and analytical skills Understanding of materials, production methods, and installation processes Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with estimating software is a plus Excellent communication and negotiation abilities High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines DUTIES Analyse project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates Liaise with suppliers for up-to-date pricing on raw materials, equipment, and outsourced services Prepare and submit quotations in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with sales and project managers to understand client requirements and ensure alignment on pricing strategies Monitor and update cost databases and estimation tools Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality Assist with tenders and RFQs, ensuring all documentation is completed and submitted correctly Track project costs post-approval to ensure profitability and identify discrepancies Salary: R negotiable dependent on experience Join us on SOCIAL MEDIA or visit our WEBSITE for more information.
