Job Description

Job Title: Investment Banking Analyst (M&A) - Brazil Location: São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil Overview: Our Origination & Advisory business provides comprehensive investment banking services for large-cap and mid-cap corporates and financial sponsors. We offer financial advisory and capital raising services, including mergers & acquisitions, supported by one of the world’s largest M&A, debt, and equity capital markets platforms. Deutsche Bank’s global presence allows us to advise on large, cross-border transactions. Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related fields Strong knowledge of Corporate Finance At least 1 year of experience in Investment Banking or related areas, with experience in financial modeling and valuation analyses Strong research, data management, analytical, and quantitative skills Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality deliverables Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate concisely and defend ideas Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently Professional and mature interaction with senior professionals, clients, and stakeholders Self-motivated and adaptable, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines Understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks in investment banking Proficiency in English (verbal and written) Technical skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Job Responsibilities: Prepare materials for pitches and M&A transactions Conduct industry and company research and strategic analysis Build financial models to evaluate transactions Support M&A transaction execution, including due diligence and documentation Act as the primary contact for clients and lead bankers Report on client interactions to senior management Assess risks associated with business decisions, ensuring compliance and ethical standards Leadership Expectations: Experience working with senior management and maintaining confidentiality Leadership skills with initiative and responsibility Foster a positive, collaborative work environment What We Offer: Competitive compensation, health benefits, retirement plans, parental leave, and family benefits Diverse, inclusive, and innovative work environment Employee resource groups and community engagement programs Educational resources and volunteer opportunities Expectations: Employees are expected to work in the office.
