SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST in the Naval Supply Systems of NAVSUP FLC SIG GF. Requirements Qualifications In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : Providing contract support throughout the organization regarding contracting laws, regulations, principles, and procedures. Leading efforts in sourcing solutions and contracting support for assigned customers through standardization of business practices, partnering with customers and stakeholders. Managing a staff of contracting professionals to develop solution-oriented decision makers who manage risk and provide contract support. Implementing acquisition reform initiatives to ensure best business practices and managing multi-year, multi-million-dollar service contracts. Resolving complex acquisition and business problems with long-range impacts on the acquisition program. NOTE : This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position.
