Job Description

Overview of Role Rothschild & Co as an organisation requires a high quality and responsive IT service for busy professionals. Rothschild & Co is building a strong IT Service Management team to support the business in its ambitious strategic objectives. The successful candidate will have a varied and hands-on role in our IT Service Delivery Team – this covers a wide range of topics such as application life cycle management, change-, problem and release management, onsite support, ongoing improvements to our Infrastructure environment in collaboration with the external Service Provider as well as managing smaller Projects to deliver new services. It is important that the candidate is service oriented, thinks flexibly, takes ownership, communicates well and is a good team player. Key Responsibilities We are looking for a candidate with a strong IT and Service Delivery background. The ideal candidate is structured, works independently and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, while also contributing effectively as part of a small, collaborative team. Package- and Application life cycle management – Working with our service providers and end users, managing the lifecycle of standard software from requirement analyses, testing, licensing, maintenance to decommissioning. Threat Vulnerability Management for Workplace – Assisting in continual improvement of systems through careful analysis of issues and their causes, collaborating in the vulnerability process with IT Security and our external service providers. Education and Qualifications Commercial degree, apprenticeship or similar ITIL Foundation beneficial Experience, Skills and Competencies Required At least 5 years of experience in software application management Strong Service Delivery Mentality with real attention to quality and excellence in all areas Strong technical understanding of Citrix VDI, package- and application life cycle management Ability to solve problems independently, quickly and to communicate them clearly to management Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German & English Experience of managing tasks that require coordination of multiple external parties Strong team player with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence amongst peers and superiors Flexible individual who can work on many different topics at the same time, is willing to get involved and interested in learning new topics Benefits Rothschild & Co is committed to safeguarding and enhancing the health and wellbeing of all its employees.
