Process Engineer

About the Role We are currently seeking a driven and hands-on Process Engineer to join our dynamic team at a manufacturing site in the West Flanders region. This role offers the opportunity to play a central part in optimizing and innovating production and maintenance processes. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary contact for identifying and implementing improvements in production and maintenance workflows. Develop structured improvement plans and collaborate with the production and maintenance managers to ensure high-quality execution. Define technical standards related to production, maintenance, energy usage, and quality, and translate these into clear procedures and training materials. Monitor energy consumption and CO₂ emissions, and serve as the key contact for related improvement initiatives. Provide support in areas such as safety, environmental standards, and energy management. Work closely with, and report directly to, the production management team. Profile: A degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical, or a related field. Motivated recent graduates are welcome to apply. A strong interest in technology, automation, and process optimization. Solid technical knowledge in mechanics, electrical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Strong organizational abilities, with a knack for setting clear priorities. Analytical mindset with the ability to work in a structured and results-oriented manner. Clear and persuasive communication skills. Proficiency in Dutch and a good working knowledge of French and English. A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
