Occupational Therapist School Setting in Canyon Country, CA

Job Description Job Description Minimum 1 years occupational therapy experience required. A school-based Occupational Therapist opportunity is available for a contract position spanning multiple locations across Canyon Country, CA, Redlands, and Lancaster areas. This role supports students ranging from Transitional Kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential direct occupational therapy services as part of a flexible, hybrid schedule. Key Responsibilities: Deliver full occupational therapy services to assigned caseloads, ensuring individualized student support. Case manage and coordinate scheduling for therapy services across multiple sites. Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to goal setting and progress evaluations. Maintain accurate documentation including SEIS forms and Service Trackers. Conduct MTSS/TRI assessments and triage services as needed for students. Collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff to support student success. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with school-based experience preferred. fortable managing flexible caseload sizes in accordance with therapy hours available. Proficient in assistive technology and augmentative and alternative munication (AT/AAC) techniques is highly desirable. Ability to work a hybrid schedule, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, demonstrating flexibility within professional hours. Strong organizational and munication skills to manage caseloads and documentation effectively. Position Details: Contract duration: Now through May 30, 2025. Approximately 30 hours per week with a flexible start and end time within standard professional hours. One opening covering three locations. Not open to clinical fellows or assistants (SLPAs) at this time.
