Customer Service/leasing Assistant - New BTR Development Location: New development site (Staines area) Contract Type: Fixed-term (5 weeks) Start Date: 1st of July Working Hours: 8 hours per day, on-site with flexibility between 8:00 - 20:00 Occasional weekend working may be required About the Role We're seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to join our team at an exciting new property development. This temporary 5-week role is perfect for someone who loves engaging with people and has strong social media skills. You'll be the first point of contact for prospective members and play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while the site establishes itself before our General Manager starts in August. Key Responsibilities Community Care, Engagement and Satisfaction Front of House Excellence: Lead telephone and in-person support, handling day-to-day member queries Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with prospective members, ensuring high-level customer service and satisfaction Social Media Management: Actively engage with members through various online platforms, create TikTok content and virtual tours, respond to messages and manage social media presence Event Support: Assist with visual promotions for upcoming programming/events and community initiatives Member Experience: Support the development of member experience through programming, initiatives, and events Proactive Communication: Keep management informed of any arising concerns and actively seek member feedback Lettings and Customer Journey Management Property Viewings: Conduct engaging property tours, showcasing features and benefits to potential members Pipeline Management: Assist with lettings and actively manage the enquiry pipeline through to booking Product Knowledge: Maintain full understanding of all products, services, and competitor offerings Administrative Support: Handle light administrative duties including writing emails, processing agreements, and maintaining records Contractor Liaison: Coordinate with external contractors, ensuring proper site access procedures Membership Processing: Prepare and process membership agreements in line with company procedures Timely Communication: Deal with member enquiries promptly and maintain organised email systems Operational Support Site Presence: Maintain professional presence on-site, ensuring proper signing in/out procedures Financial Awareness: Support basic financial management tasks and communicate any issues to management Health & Safety: Follow all H&S policies and procedures, including fire and emergency protocols What We're Looking For Essential Requirements Social Media Expertise: Strong experience with social media platforms, particularly TikTok and virtual content creation Customer Service Background: Previous experience in customer service, leasing, or property roles Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Professional Attitude: Reliable, punctual, and able to represent the company professionally Tech Savvy: Comfortable with computerised booking and management systems People Person: Naturally friendly and approachable manner with strong interpersonal skills Desirable Qualities Experience in property or lettings industry Event coordination experience Financial administration knowledge Flexibility to work varied hours within operating times What We Offer Competitive daily rate for 40 hours per week Opportunity to work on a brand-new development Creative freedom with social media content Supportive team environment Professional development in the property sector Equal opportunities employer committed to diversity and inclusion Working Conditions Monday to Friday core hours with flexibility between 8:00-20:00 Occasional weekend work may be required On-site presence required for full shift duration Physical requirements include conducting property tours and general office duties Application Process: Please send your CV and a brief cover letter highlighting your social media experience and customer service background.
