Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1-2 years License: Current state licensure as Registered Nurse Certifications: BCLS Certification, ACLS preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: RN experience Description: As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse, you will provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. You will develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. You will communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with Physicians, Nursing Supervisors/Managers, and co-workers as appropriate. You will participate in the discharge planning process. Qualifications: You must have graduated from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program. You will have a minimum of one year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, and anxiety are common diagnoses treated. You will be working with both adult and pediatric populations. Patient ratios may vary.
