Pay Information $1,976 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour shifts Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Medical Surgical or Inpatient Rehabilitation License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: 1 year of travel experience Epic experience Experience in acute inpatient rehabilitation or acute rehabilitation hospital Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our rehabilitation team. This is a free-standing, acute inpatient rehabilitation facility. We specialize in providing care for patients recovering from strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. Our goal is to help patients achieve their highest level of recovery. We aim to facilitate their return home as soon as they are able. We focus on maximizing health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. We are accredited through established healthcare organizations for our rehabilitation services. The unit consists of 49 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:7. The candidate will work with patients presenting various diagnoses, including hypertension, CVA, and neurological conditions. Common nursing tasks include blood glucose monitoring, administering insulin, and managing feeding tubes. We expect proficiency in starting IVs, caring for ports and PICC lines, and adhering to isolation precautions. Preferred candidates will have experience with trauma care. The dress code includes any color of scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes non-scrub-based clothing.
