TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Charlottesville, Virginia, 22903! Pay Information $2,916 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum years of experience required. License: Valid state license required, pending licenses accepted with specific conditions. Certifications: ONS certification required, BLS and ACLS preferred. Must-Have: Epic experience required. Must adhere to float policy. Description: The Inpatient Oncology unit is a 28-bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit. It includes a 15-bed intermediate care Stem Cell Transplant Unit. Joining the Inpatient Oncology team provides new nurses the opportunity to train in both levels of care. Nurses gain deep knowledge of care for oncology patients. The nurse-to-patient ratio for the oncology unit is 1:4. In the Stem Cell Transplant Unit, the nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3 due to the higher level of care. Nurses will work nights. Nurses are expected to work every other weekend and holiday. Nurses can expect a maximum of 40 hours off. The certification required must be submitted with applications. Candidates will be asked to float within their scope of practice. References are required for submission. Experience with specific charting systems is necessary. Background checks will be conducted, and any known issues should be disclosed. Preferred educational qualification is a BSN.
