Orientation & Advising Lead comprehensive orientation programs covering academic expectations, school policies, and online tools (Canvas, Zoom). Provide academic and behavioral advisement in collaboration with faculty and administration. Monitor attendance and progress and facilitate academic conduct discussions. (himalayas.app) 2. Resource Coordination Distribute and analyze student satisfaction surveys and institutional questionnaires. Refer students to counseling, mental health, disability services, and other specialized support when needed. Inform students of community services like local childcare, housing support, and wellness programs. 3. Online Learning Support Train students to use Canvas LMS and understand online etiquette, academic integrity, and copyright issues. Offer basic technical troubleshooting and connect students with IT assistance. 4. Career & Placement Assistance Coordinate with Career Services to plan job fairs, employer visits, and workshops. Academic Resources & Tutoring Support the development of resource/tutoring centers; schedule and promote learning workshops.
