Services provided pertain to study skills, time management, academic planning, subject area tutoring, and writing support. The Study Hall Monitor aids in providing support to the Student-Athlete Success Services (SASS) Office through monitoring and effectively tracking Study Hall attendance data. This position works with student-athlete success coaches, athletic coaches, and student-athletes to achieve department goals. *Purpose of the Position:*This position is responsible for tracking Study Hall attendance and maintaining a positive, quiet, studious environment. *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position:* * Good communication skills * Basic computer skills *Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required :Education Required:* * High school graduate or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma *Experience Required:* * Experience using computers *Additional Consideration(s):Experience Preferred:* * Leadership experience working with large groups of 30 – 50 people at one time * Experience working in a collegiate or high school academic support setting *Role Code:*29141 *Salary Information:*Starting at $15.00 per hour, Commensurate with Education and Experience *Conditions of Employment:*This is an HOURLY position and does NOT entitle the incumbent to Commonwealth of Virginia benefits and is limited to 1500 hours in a 365-day period.
