Protestant Religious Education Coordinator EUR 15.000 - 22.000 7 giorni fa The successful candidate for this position will be a 1099 contractor with Music Ministry International and be responsible for the following: 1. Position : Protestant Religious Education (RE) Coordinator 2. Scope of Responsibilities Inside Scope Plan, coordinate, and support religious needs in a pluralistic environment. The RE Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Community Coordinators and volunteers for ecumenical education programs including, but not limited to, Vacation Bible School and Youth Ministry. Candidates must have at least twelve (12) months of retainability in the local area. This is a non-personal services contract to support chapel religious education services. The Government shall not exercise supervision or control over the service providers, who are accountable solely to the Contractor, who is responsible to the Government. 3. Education and Experience Ability to work unsupervised in a fluid and sometimes stressful environment with a diverse group of people including volunteers, chapel staff, and other faith communities. Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Efficient organization and management of diverse program elements. Basic understanding of planning, developing, and executing a budget. 4. General Responsibilities Reliable transportation to and from work and adherence to gate pass rules. Maintain professional conduct, appearance, and punctuality. Attend weekly and monthly staff meetings. Recruit volunteers and promote mission objectives. Monitor for fraud, waste, and abuse; report facility damage and lost keys. Complete background checks as per DoD instructions and maintain compliance with all relevant laws and instructions. 5. Specific Responsibilities Meet regularly with staff to review mission goals. Implement policies set by Chaplains and the Pastoral Advisory Council. Organize and schedule religious services, including VBS. Conduct orientation and training workshops for volunteers and families. Prepare an annual RE program plan and submit it timely for approval. Develop publicity materials for programs. Submit weekly after-action reports with attendance data. Maintain a continuity binder with program information. Ensure volunteers working with youth under 18 have background checks. Arrive early and secure the facility for classes and events. 6. Leave / Time-Off Notify the Contracting Office of any leave; substitutes require approval and must meet qualifications.
