Pay Information $2,150 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Medical Surgical ICU (MSICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 hours (6:42 AM - 7:12 PM) Experience: 2 years of SICU Experience, Open Heart Trained License: State License Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) Must-Have: - 2 years of SICU Experience - Open Heart Trained - BLS (AHA) - ACLS (AHA) Description: This position performs a variety of integrated pre and post-operative critical care functions. The nursing process is used intuitively while applying broad nursing knowledge in a caring, concerned manner. Responsibilities include assessing patients for physical, emotional, psych/social, and family support needs. Organizing and coordinating all aspects of patient care according to the patient's real and/or perceived needs is essential. Evaluating patient progress by correlating patient information with nursing knowledge helps determine if goals are being met according to the patient’s plan of care or clinical path. Consulting and collaborating with members of the healthcare team in planning and implementing comprehensive patient care are vital components of this role.
