Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery - $1,611 per week in Austin, TX

Job Title: RN Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in high volume delivery service License: Registered Nurse license in Texas Certifications: BLS Provider certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Neonatal Resuscitation certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Advanced Life Support certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required. Must-Have: Associates Degree in Nursing from an accredited school/college of nursing 3-5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in high volume delivery service preferred. S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification preferred. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred. Description: This is a Level IV Maternal Designation facility. The unit features 20 labor, delivery, and recovery suites, 4 C-section suites, and 10 Triage rooms. There are 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms and 14 monitored Ante-partum rooms. This setting offers an academic teaching service as well as large private OB practices. It operates a high-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing over 500 deliveries per month. There is 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. A Perinatal Transport Program is also available. The facility is expanding with a new Women's Tower set to open in late 2025. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NRP.
