Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, 1 year of Cerner experience License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: Graduated from an accredited school of nursing Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of solutions. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities are necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the assigned unit or department. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current BLS certification is required.
