Travel Nurse RN - Med/Surg - $2,020 per week in Jackson, MI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in Medical-Surgical nursing License: Current active RN licensure Certifications: BLS certification Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare personnel. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of those solutions. Candidates may be required to float to areas of equal or lesser acuity. Average patient ratio is 1:6-7. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.
