Regulatory Affairs Officer – Dutch Speaker (Entry-Level) Location: Utrecht, Netherlands (Hybrid, 60% office presence) A leading player in the European crop protection sector is seeking a Dutch native or native-level Regulatory Affairs Associate to join its expanding regulatory team. What You’ll Be Doing From day one, you’ll be immersed in real-world regulatory projects, supported by a senior expert who has spent years building regulatory excellence in the Dutch crop protection market. You’ll work collaboratively across departments, learn how to navigate local and EU regulatory systems, and gain direct insight into how sustainable plant protection products are registered and maintained. Your key responsibilities will include: Supporting the preparation, compilation, and submission of regulatory dossiers for plant protection products in the Netherlands Learning how to interpret and apply EU Regulation 1107/2009 and associated national guidelines Helping to coordinate with internal teams (e.g. development, product stewardship, marketing) to ensure accurate and timely submissions Monitoring changes in Dutch and EU legislation , including updates from the Ctgb, and supporting internal compliance efforts Collaborating with stakeholders such as consultants, industry bodies, and (under supervision) Dutch regulatory authorities Gradually developing your ability to assess data gaps, contribute to data generation strategies, and assist in dossier defence and renewals What Makes This a Stand-Out Opportunity? We’re looking for someone with: Dutch native or native-level fluency (written and spoken) – this is essential due to the market focus A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field such as, Plant Science, Agronomy, Phytopathology, Horticulture, Biology, Environmental Sciences or related areas A strong academic record and a desire to work at the interface of science, policy, and regulation Some exposure to regulatory affairs or understanding of the registration process (e.g. via internship, thesis, or previous work experience) Excellent attention to detail, structured thinking, and the ability to follow complex regulatory guidelines A proactive, communicative personality and eagerness to learn Availability to work from the Utrecht office around 2–3 days per week A Real Career Path This position offers you an entry point into one of the most strategic areas of the crop protection industry.
