Sewing teacher

Company Description We are fast growing sewing school in Rotterdam with the most amazing students who create beautiful outfits. Role Description The job is great, if you like to communicate with people, you will be always in the center of attention the language of instruction is English. The sewing teacher will be responsible mostly for teaching, but also for communication, making new sewing courses (together with me), recording educational videos for social media. We already have courses that we will teach you. In the beginning, you will not need to invent anything from scratch. Later, I will need help in creating new courses. The location is in Rotterdam, this work is fully on site. You can start with 4 hours a week and expand to 8-12 hours. We can agree on how many hours you work. The work schedule is on weekdays in the evenings from 18:00 till 22:00 and on weekends from 10:00. The days are negotiable. Qualifications Education in sewing Experience working in a studio or working independently in individual tailoring at least for 3 years Conversational English, knowledge of sewing terminology in English Knowledge in pattern making Passion for teaching and working with students Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners Strong organizational and time-management skills Patience, ability to resolve conflicts Previous teaching experience is a plus (but not necessary)
