Production Manager

Position : Production Manager Location : Ottery (Western Cape) Direct Report : General Manager Job Type : Permanent Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. NQF 6 in Production/Operations Management or HNDT in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering ). Minimum 5 years experience in a Production Manager role within manufacturing (preferably FMCG). Hands-on experience with injection moulding processes and machinery is essential. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Knowledge of ISO 9001 , GMP, and Food Safety practices. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the full production process to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery. Implement production schedules and allocate resources effectively. Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks, and drive process improvements. Lead and manage production teams, promoting a culture of accountability and performance. Ensure adherence to health, safety, quality, and food safety standards. Maintain accurate production records and reporting.
