Pastor or Director of Worship and Spiritual Formation: Seven Hills Fellowship Job Description: Seven Hills Fellowship is seeking applicants for a Pastor or Director of Worship and Spiritual Formation. This position will be responsible for the planning and execution of corporate worship, including music and liturgy, and oversight of Seven Hills’ adult education and formation program, The Pathway to Flourishing. This position is full-time, reports to the Head Pastor, and may be ordained (Pastor) or non-ordained (Director). RESPONSIBILITIES Worship Oversight ● Lead worship planning and execution in alignment with Seven Hills Fellowship’s vision/values, ethos, and Americana musical style, drawing from traditional and ● Select Sunday morning songs and liturgy in alignment with sermon series and ministry/liturgical calendar. ● Musician scheduling, recruitment/training, and practice. ● Oversight and implementation of worship technology Pathway to Flourishing Oversight ● Refinement and Execution of our adult education and formation program, The Pathway to Flourishing. ● Recruit, train and manage Pathway to Flourishing volunteer leaders. ● Market and recruit participants for The Pathway to Flourishing. ● Create and implement systems to track participation in and evaluation of Pathway toFlourishing outcomes. Position Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS ● Applicants for the Pastor of Worship and Spiritual Formation must have completed a Masters of Divinity degree and be ordained (or ordainable) within the Presbyterian Church in America. ● Applicants for the Director of Worship and Spiritual Formation must have completed a Bachelor’s degree, but additional graduate theological training (completed or in progress) is preferred. ● Applicants should possess a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, exemplifying a deep understanding of the Gospel and the transformative power of God’s grace, from the context of Reformed Christian faith. ● Applicants should have proficiency in leading teams and communicating with volunteers. ● Proficiency sufficient to provide leadership and technical guidance to the musical aspect of corporate worship. ● Other desired competencies: Experience with Planning Center, leading worship, and facilitating adult spiritual formation.
