Job Description Job Description Southern California Pipe Trades Administrative Corporation (SCPTAC) administers comprehensive benefits to members under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreements between District Council No. 16 and Employers in the plumbing and pipefitting industry in Southern California. We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Employer Services team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding debts. CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt Full-Time Salary Grade IV EXPERIENCE & GENERAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Education: High school diploma required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Experience : 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or Taft-Hartley employee benefits. Skills: Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal English Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to read, understand and explain legal contracts preferred JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Employer Services team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding debts. Account Management : Oversee a portfolio of overdue accounts, ensuring timely and efficient collections in line with company policies. Communication : Contact customers via phone, email, or written correspondence to resolve outstanding balances and maintain positive relationships. Dispute Resolution : Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes with customers in a professional and effective manner. Reporting : Prepare and maintain regular reports for the Board of Trustees and Legal Counsel on collection status. Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams to resolve account issues. Continuous Learning : Maintain and update knowledge of customer service and collection procedures by taking advantage of educational opportunities, ensuring you stay current on industry best practices and legal requirements Management may assign other responsibilities based on the individual's abilities.
