Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES Assists in the inventory, ordering, receipt, storage, issue and control of repair parts and materials and performs related physical and clerical tasks as required. Performs duties and completes assignments in a timely, efficient and competent manner. Complies with UHS and departmental policies and regulations. Assures proper use and care of equipment and supplies. Maintains good guest and working relations. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Completion of high school or its equivalent is required. College level courses in business methods, bookkeeping, general stores operations and a commercial school course in computerized supply and storage operations are preferred. At least one year in supply and general stores operations and the use of a computer program in the control of stores are required. Two or more years of the aforementioned with emphasis on repair parts is preferred.
