HQ SACT is seeking contract support for the NSD-S HUB Analyst position. The NSD-S HUB Analyst will serve as a liaison between HQ SACT and the NSD-S HUB to foster mutual benefits. Key responsibilities include enhancing ACT's understanding of regional dynamics in North Africa, the Middle East, the Sahel, Sub-Saharan Africa, and neighboring areas. The incumbent will be responsible for reporting on new developments at the strategic level, promoting HQ SACT inputs, and supporting regional approach development. The contractor will work under the guidance of the COTR. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS College degree or equivalent national qualification required; 5 years of military or professional experience in a policy environment can substitute for a degree. Desirable: Portfolio, Programme and Project management (P3) and Senior Officer Policy Courses. Ability to work independently, proactively, and efficiently on multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Professional appearance and effective interaction in an international environment. Proficiency in word processing and project management software. Experience working with Flag / General Officers is desirable. Foreign language skills, especially in French, are desirable. Flexibility to work outside normal hours, including weekends and evenings, often on short notice. Experience in international military or governmental policy environments. Experience with high-level event planning within NATO or similar contexts. Knowledge of NATO plans and policies. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience managing complex schedules. Proficiency in database software. TASKS Serve as the primary liaison with NSD-S HUB and ACT SPP STRTPLP. Develop and maintain the NSD-S database. Report on ACT-related issues to the SPP STRTPLP Branch Head. Coordinate with ACT directorates and branches to share information on HUB functions supporting policy, ETEE, and capability development, providing insights into regional security activities. Update ACT on HUB deliverables. Utilize ACT products to support HUB activities. Engage with NSD-S Hub stakeholders, representing ACT perspectives. Maintain direct relationships between ACT and the HUB. Support HUB activities related to ACT and NATO development projects. Ensure HUB access to ACT online products. Coordinate projects and studies from NSD-S HUB via the Knowledge Production Plan (KPP). Perform additional tasks as assigned by the COTR. J-18808-Ljbffr
