Position Description We are currently searching for a Sales Application Specialist to join our Molecular Diagnostics/Life Science Sales Team. The position will cover commercial aspects of the sales support process and is responsible for demonstrations, consulting, and sales support. The SAS will be responsible for improving customer satisfaction and building customer relationships while providing prompt, professional and accurate advisory and support service to customers on all QIAGEN products. Key responsibilities include: - Meeting the objectives of the assigned product line(s), coordinating, and executing product demonstrations with clients and prospects as well as comprehensively promoting the QIAGEN portfolio for Molecular Diagnostics and Life Science clients. - Identifying new prospects for the product lines under your responsibility, working together with the Sales Rep and Agency to close opportunities and maintaining effective communication with KOLs at the national level for the lines under their responsibility. - Providing pre-sales technical support for internal clients (Sales Reps) and external clients, projecting the forecast of the materials required in the following months for the lines in charge, as well as, complying with the KPIs established by the company. - Maintain effective communication with Marketing to generate specific strategies for the product lines under your responsibility and with the different functional areas of QIAGEN to ensure adequate customer service. - Screening and preparing tender documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company strategies and regulatory requirements. Position Requirements - Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, PhD or equivalent experience. - Minimum 3-5 years in a similar position or relevant sales experience (preferred). - Proven laboratory experience in human biomedical molecular disciplines, particularly human molecular diagnostics. - Proven experience in relevant laboratory techniques: qPCR, dPCR and/or ddPCR, NGS, and DNA-based technologies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in both Italian and English. - Willingness to travel (60%) across Trentino-Alto Adige, Emilia-Romagna and valid driver's license. - Preferred residence in Verona area.
